G&G SR30 - DJ Shipley K3 Full Custom Build, PrimeMech Tuning, GATE TITAN II, Tacticker, Tracer

Up for sale is my latest completed project – my SR30, which I've extensively customized both internally and externally to my personal preferences. For the overall look of this build, I took inspiration from DJ Shipley's K3, aiming to replicate his setup as closely and accurately as possible.

Let's start with the internals

The SR30 was fully serviced again just last week by the airsoft tech PrimeMech specifically in preparation for the sale. Anyone familiar with PrimeMech knows how much attention he pays to proper shimming, air sealing, and making sure all components work together perfectly.

The original internal upgrades and tuning were carried out in November last year. Since then, I've only used the rifle once, during the summer.

Pre-cocking is set to 31 ms, with Active Braking at 100%. The trigger response is absolutely fantastic, and the overall sound signature is relatively quiet.

Moving on to the externals

Starting with the black CYMA Dust Cover and the Magpul MOE-K2 Pistol Grip, which fits the overall setup perfectly, both visually and ergonomically. At the rear, I've installed a Magpul MOE SL Stock.

The centerpiece of this build, at least for me, is definitely the optic setup. An Aimpoint Micro T-2 sits on a GBRS Group Hydra Mount V2, complemented by an Aimpoint 3X-P Magnifier mounted on a GBRS Group 2.91" FTC Magnifier Mount.

Towards the front, there's an L3Harris NGAL Laser Unit. On the side, I've mounted a Modlite PLHv2-18650 using an Arisaka Defense Inline Scout Mount M-LOK. It's operated through a UNITY Tactical AXON SL Switch, which I assembled myself using different components.

For the foregrip, I went with a BCM Vertical Grip MOD3, complemented by a BCM QD Sling Socket.

The muzzle setup has also been completely reworked. It features a Knight's Armament QDC/MCQ-PRT Suppressor, together with the matching QDC 3-Prong Flash Eliminator and Suppressor Shroud. Inside the suppressor sits an ACETECH Blaster M Tracer Unit.

The original charging handle has also been replaced with a Big Dragon Butterfly Charging Handle.

All in all, quite a bit of money, time, and attention to detail has gone into this SR30. The combination of the extensive external modifications and the freshly completed PrimeMech service makes this a fully finished project in my eyes.

You can probably imagine how difficult it was to source some of these parts, even though they're "just" replicas.

A few additional details: The rifle comes without a magazine. The bolt catch still works with the new charging handle. However, the original empty-magazine detection system no longer functions due to the GATE TITAN II installation.

The larger suppressor shroud isn't shown in the pictures, but it is of course included.
