Gas airsoft pistol with blowback system: the Walther P99 'God of War' by WE. A modern variant with a black polymer frame and a metal slide. This pistol model gained fame through recent films featuring secret agent 007 (James Bond), who used it as a personal weapon. The P99 does not have an external hammer, but operates with an internal striking mechanism. The status of the cocked striking mechanism is visible and palpable at the rear of the slide. Like every GBB (Gas Blow Back) pistol, this model offers realistic disassembly, a working slide catch, and the ability to safely release the cocked striking mechanism. The higher weight and ergonomically shaped grip ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The grip features a rough texture for extra grip and comfort.
Due to the moving slide, regular maintenance (disassembly) is required. It is important to thoroughly clean the pistol and lubricate the sliding surfaces and O-rings in the valves. Silicone oil or grease is highly suitable for this; these products can be found in the accessories section. Only in this way is correct and reliable operation (reloading) guaranteed in the semi-automatic firing mode. For the reasons mentioned above, these models are very popular among enthusiastic 'military' airsoft teams.
