Hi-Capa STI DVC 2011 Build with GUNSMITH BROS KIT

FULL STORY ABOUT THE BUILD

After some years of working on basic Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa custom builds, I decided in 2019–2020 to start a new project: building a Hi-Capa from zero.
For this reason, I decided to buy the Gunsmith Bros STI DVC 2011 kit. STI was the original inventor of the 2011 platform and was known as one of the top-quality producers of 2011 pistols. The company has now been rebranded as Staccato.
The kit includes an advanced frame and a fixed barrel with a 14mm thread for standard suppressors and tracer units.
I spent approximately six months ordering and fitting all the parts. After that, I only used it a few times on the field because I have other pistols and I cared too much about this one.
When making this build, I deliberately decided to move away from the original STI version in order to make it even more unique, for example with the choice of stippling, hammer set, etc.
There are some minimal scratches on the frame and on the magwell. The most visible ones are on the magwell, while the others are common and typical signs of wear that can appear even after the first game with a new replica. In any case, this is nothing like a heavily used replica. Everything is visible in the pictures, and I am willing to provide additional photos if needed.

All the following Marui parts were replaced with new Marui parts:

I also have a DP hop-up unit, but after some testing I found that the original TM unit works better. If you prefer the DP unit, or if you want an extra TM hop-up unit, we can arrange it by private message.


MAGAZINES AND ACCESSORIES

-3 x Marui 4.3 Hi-Capa magazines: 1 brand new and 2 used, but with zero leaks
-3 + 3 dedicated magazine base plates with STI logo and 3D-textured functional grip, designed and printed in PLA-CF by myself
The original design will never be sold to anyone, so you will be the only one with these custom magazine base plates
-6 already mounted plus extra magazine base blockers, designed to remove the base plate without any visible hole, unlike standard airsoft magazines
-Original STI iron front sight
-Case with LASER-CUT foam to fit the components, plus dedicated plastic insert
-SureFire pistol light replica
-Spare Parts

All spare parts are visible in the pictures.

There are some brand-new magazine O-rings, full kit, short-stroke kit, hammer set spring regulation kit, nozzle O-ring, harder recoil spring, etc.


ADDITIONAL ASSITANCE AND DISCLAIMER

I am very proud of the final result, and some of the extra parts are included so that specific characteristics of the pistol can be adjusted or modified.
For this reason, before the sale I will dedicate some time to explaining what the parts are for and when they should be used.
This does not mean that, after the sale is completed, I will become a 24/7 assistance center. I will provide support only during the pre-sale phase.


FINAL PRICE AND CONCLUSION

I decided to list only the costs of the real custom parts. These prices were taken from two of the best-priced websites for custom Hi-Capa parts.
Many of these parts are no longer available and are now very hard to find, including the kit itself. On top of these costs, shipping fees from multiple orders placed on different websites and customs fees, approximately 20% or more, must also be added.
This is only to give an idea of the overall cost of making a build like this, not including the remaining components and extras, the assembly time, and the design work for the 3D-printed parts.
Based only on the list provided, I am asking 800.
The reason for the sale, besides reducing my collection, is to raise funds because I am planning to move abroad for my master thesis.
