The CM040I is a **modernized platform featuring a retractable stock and compact barrel**, making it perfectly suited for dynamic CQB situations as well as close‑ and mid‑range field engagements.

Constructed from **steel, aluminium and high‑quality ABS polymer**, the replica is supplied with an aluminium handguard, a retractable stock and a matching polymer magazine. The barrel features a **14 mm CCW thread**, supporting a wide range of muzzle devices, tracer units and mock suppressors.

Key structural components — including the receiver, flash hider, trigger guard and dust cover — are machined from steel, giving the replica a realistic weight and outstanding durability. The outer barrel, handguard, gas tube, gas block and sights are manufactured from a strong aluminium alloy.
