RetroArms CNC Silent Aluminium Piston Head
Unlike a standard flat piston head, its design is adapted to the corresponding impact surface of a silent cylinder head, with which it helps reduce the impact and noise generated when the piston strikes. The piston head itself is made from durable aluminium using precision CNC machining, and its front section features a rubber impact pad. The design also includes a ball bearing, which allows the spring to rotate more freely during compression and helps reduce unwanted spring twisting. It is a suitable part for building or servicing a silent AEG compression system, but it is important to use it with a compatible silent cylinder head; simply replacing the piston head with a silent version without a matching cylinder head is not the correct combination.
