Typically worn over the base layer of a uniform and existing gear, it is made from a durable material blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, offering an excellent balance of low weight, durability, comfort, and quick-drying performance. The foundation of the system is a bolero-style cover with integrated camouflage netting. An adjustable chest buckle and integrated shock cords in the sleeves provide the wearer with a high degree of comfort and adjustability.

The oversized skeletonized hood is spacious enough to fit over a helmet without restricting head movement. A flexible wire sewn into the edge of the hood helps maintain the desired shape, while multiple drawstrings ensure a secure and customizable fit.
