WHY DID VORTEX MAKE THESE BALLISTIC LASER RANGEFINDING BINOCULARS? Long-range shooters and hunters struggle with the complexity of gathering ballistic, environmental, and rifle-specific data quickly in the field, especially when relying on traditional methods or multiple devices. This approach not only slows them down but also forces a trade-off on optical clarity, limiting visibility and precision when assessing distant terrain, planning a shot, or preparing a stalk. In time-sensitive scenarios where visual details and reliable data across extreme distances are critical, split-second precision often means the difference between failure and success.

WHAT MAKES THE TALON® HD 10K DIFFERENT?
• 10,000-Yard Capability – For ranging shots, planning stages and stalks.
• HD Optical System – Premium glass and optical technology for long-range clarity.
• Active Matrix Red OLED Display – Intuitive, customizable, auto-leveling.
• On-Board Environmental Sensors – Real-time temperature, pressure, humidity, compass bearing, and inclination.
• Wind Bearing Capture Mode – Lock in wind speed and direction for accurate holds.
• In-Display Wind/Drop Solutions – Provided by the integrated GeoBallistics® Solver.
• Customizable Ballistic Profiles – Use presets or load your own for any shooting setup.
• Vortex Relay™ Connectivity – Connects to share real-time ballistic, environmental, and rifle-specific data across a suite of devices.

WHAT IS GEOBALLISTICS®? GeoBallistics® is a powerful ballistic solver and app that makes long-range shooting easier for every level of hunter and shooter. Combining range, weather, wind, and custom rifle and bullet profiles, it’s quite simply the easiest way to create quick, reliable wind/drop solutions in the field.

WHAT IS THE VORTEX RELAY™ NETWORK? The Vortex Relay™ network is a closed connectivity platform that ensures an instantaneous and unbreakable link between every long-range device in your kit. It delivers critical range and ballistic data without delay, offering the freedom to customize a precision toolset you can take anywhere. This network is designed to get out of your way and enhance your long-range capability and overall shooting experience.

WHAT ARE THE TOP USES FOR THIS PRODUCT? Western Hunting, Long-Range Shooting, and Competition Shooting. The Talon® HD 10K is both intuitive and capable and is a great tool for beginner and advanced users.

WHEN DOES THE TALON® HD 10K NEED TO BE CALIBRATED? The Talon® HD 10K should be calibrated during initial setup and should be re-calibrated every time you significantly change location, typically 30 miles or more, and after battery changes. Calibrate your Talon® HD 10K outside and away from large metal structures or objects.

WHAT DATA CAN THE TALON® HD 10K ON-BOARD SENSORS CAPTURE? The Talon® HD 10K has on-board sensors to capture real-time atmospheric and environmental data. The on-board compass and inclinometer can capture target direction, wind direction, and inclination angle. Its on-board environmental sensors can capture temperature, pressure, and humidity. Wind speed and direction must be entered manually or via another Vortex Relay™ device.
