Two Ultrabright LEDs form the base of the lamp - one white and one IR. Both generate a 10lm beam with a battery runtime of 36 hours.
Two 2016 batteries provide power for the headlamp.
A top-mounted button is used to operate and cycle headlamp modes. Princeton Tec versatile mounting system is integrated with the Switch MPLS. This solution enables attachment to PALS/Molle platforms, ARC, and Picatinny rails. A flexible boom allows directing the light source in the correct direction.
With super-compact dimensions and low weight, Switch MPLS is a perfect "tac-light" for military applications.
