Hi!
I’m putting up for sale a replica that is looking for someone who is willing to give it some attention. It’s a King Arms VSS with a Mancraft PDIK.
I installed the following upgrades:
- Mancraft PDIK HPA engine
- Begadi Nebo hop-up chamber (green version)
- O-ring on the chamber to eliminate magazine wobble
The good stuff:
The replica looks great, comes with several magazines, and the engine itself is in good condition. It hasn’t been cleaned for about a year, but it still gives stable chrono readings.
The main issue:
I haven’t been able to get this replica running consistently. It can shoot perfectly one moment, and then suddenly develop underhop or overhop for no apparent reason.
The magazines need some sanding/adjustment, otherwise the chamber can damage or break the magazine catches. One of the teeth used for mounting an optic is also cracked. There is also a small hole at the front of the handguard for hop-up adjustment.
This is definitely not a “buy it and forget about it” replica, but considering the value of the body, HPA engine and hop-up chamber, I believe the asking price is a reasonable starting point.
It has beautiful real wood furniture, and I believe that someone with the right knowledge and experience could turn it into a very capable DMR without too much trouble.
Sold as-is, with all the issues described above.
About shipping. On Buyers side :)
