WWII TOP MP40

Rare and currently hard to get MP40 from Japanese company TOP. In original condition except for replaced motor - does not fit tightly and could use a narrower motor. The replica is full metal, not like the pot metals other MP40 replicas use. You will break before the externals will. It is one of the best visual replicas of the MP40 ever.

However, the internals leave much to be desired. It uses proprietary "bellow" system like on other replicas from TOP. Parts are partly exchangable with V7(?) mechabox parts, but otherwise the is not much to be upgraded without quite a lot of work. Not impossible to make it a "normal" AEG internal wise, but it will use a lot of work. I would discourage this possible endevour, as it history is more interesting with internals it has currently. Maybe swap parts that can be changed, but the "bellow" should stay.

The gun shoots and works generally works. Keep in mind that it is quite an old gun and for japanese airsoft laws, so it probably does not exceed 300 FPS. In addition are three low-caps and two high-caps, one of them is missing upper and might be repaired or used as for spare parts. The magazines seen better days, some of the have rust spots, but given they are hard to get I wasn't choosy when obtaining them.

This replica is more of a collector piece and should be checked and some parts probably exchanged (hop-up rubber, etc.). It can still be used in a skirmish, but don't know what FPS it has today. Let me know if you want more pictures.
