 This airsoft replica is built to a 1:1 scale and, thanks to the original Glock markings, provides a very authentic impression. The markings are deeply engraved into the metal slide, just like on the real thing. The Glock markings molded into the grip are also cleanly integrated. Above all, the excellent shooting performance with its authentic CO2 blowback system is impressive, delivering a truly satisfying shooting experience.

 The firing mechanism of this pistol ensures that, just like a real pistol, the metal slide moves back and forth with each shot. Besides the realistic sound, the crisp recoil further enhances the overall authentic impression. When the magazine is empty, the slide locks back, just like on a real pistol. After inserting a new or loaded magazine, the slide stop must be pressed to continue firing.

 The most noticeable feature of the Generation 5 is the redesigned grip. It does away with the finger grooves that have been standard since 1998, resulting in a noticeably improved feel. However, the small, square, and highly grippy textured grips remain. When the magazine is removed, the magazine well is shaped like a funnel. This feature is intended to make magazine changes easier and faster. The overall frame dimensions are identical to the original, meaning the pistol also fits in Safariland or Blackhawk holsters.

 The ambidextrous slide stop lever, present on the original pistol, has been visually added to this airsoft replica. However, it is unfortunately only operable from the left side. For easier aiming, the front and rear sights are backed with white. As with the previous version, the Generation 5 also features a Picatinny rail under the grip for additional mounting options. The integrated hop-up system improves BB trajectory. As with the original, all firing-related levers are functional on the airsoft version.

The original Glock 17 pistol is used by military and police units worldwide. The G17 pistol, in various generations, is also in use by GSG-9 and SEK units.
