Important info:

I bought this replica from someone, and it was really disgustingly painted. See the original polymer parts.
So I decided to restore the SVD into a nice battle-worn AK.
I removed all the paint and put a wood kit on it.
He hasn't seen the field since then, so it still looks (too) new.
Furthermore, the replica has been fully treated with gun oil to keep it rust-free and neat.

The replica itself works perfectly. It shoots semi-automatically and very far. After all, it is a DMR that is rated to shoot up to 1.7 Joules.
Internally and externally it is a solid replica, but a real amateur worked on it. So don't ask me any questions about the details. In case you haven't seen it yet, this one has been used a lot.
Among other things, this is partly because it has been converted from Spring to HPA.
You unscrew the dust cover, and that is how you get to the engine.
The fire selector does not function with this engine; that is simply not possible, even if you wanted it to be.
Do you need this? No, because you shoot semi-auto, the safe zone is the hose off.

It is no longer a beauty, but it remains the highly recognizable Dragunov.
Do you want a cool DMR that is battle-worn, but still functions well? Then this is the one for you.

Please don't ask me anything about performance other than that the BBs shoot far and hop. I'm not a techie; I just enjoy fixing the external side.
