This G&G Piranha TR airsoft replica features a housing made of impact-resistant aluminium with a black anodized coating. The replica is particularly neatly finished and has a tactical design. The half slide, accessory rail, and trigger safety all contribute to this. This replica has a grip made of synthetic material—giving the Piranha MK I a total weight of only 670 grams—and it features a rough texture all around for extra grip.
The G&G Piranha TR is a very pleasant airsoft replica to use. It features a half-slide that you can actually pull back with just one finger to cock the hammer spring. There are, however, diagonal grooves on either side of the half-slide to make cocking easier. The airsoft replica shoots semi-automatically, allowing you to empty the magazine with its 25-BB capacity nice and quickly. The double-stack magazine features an external follower that you can manually pull down and lock before loading the magazine with 6mm BBs.
This G&G Piranha TR airsoft replica features blowback, but its half-slide allows you to hold it steady while shooting, which improves accuracy. For aiming, you use the three-point aiming system on top of the slide. The white dots are clearly visible under various lighting conditions, allowing for accurate aiming. This version of the Piranha features a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail on top of the slide, making it easy to equip with a red dot. The adjustable hop-up also contributes to accuracy. There is a second Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail on the underside of the front section, where you can mount a light or a laser, for example.
