ARES Amoeba AM 016 Airsoft M4 AEG Rifle

The ARES Amoeba AM-016 AEG series is available in black and is the newest line of Amoeba AEG's which we all know are more reliable than their predecessors. This particular M4 style is known as the Honey Badger from the popular computer game Call of Duty.

ARES is known for making affordable AEGs that perform excellently right out of the box. They started selling their product line in 2009 and have had a good reputation ever since. Most of their weapons can be upgraded with their own line of parts.

The Octarms rail system uses the keymod system with slots at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock on the rail. ARES also has the rail system released separately with many additional accessories that you can mount on it. It shoots at a steady 410 fps which is a great weapon to use outdoors , tested with a large 7.4V Tamiya battery. Although it can probably handle 11.1V, we do not recommend it until you have replaced the internal parts to handle the increased pressure. The firing modes of this weapon are semi-automatic or fully automatic to rain BBs on your opponent. The visor is easy to fold up and down, while the stock can be quickly retracted, for which it was designed.

It works with the ARES/Amoeba Electronic Gearbox Programmer for the ARES Electronic Firing Control System Gearbox, so you can set your AEG to burst fire if desired. Trigger response is excellent and works best with a 7.4V battery stored in the stock tube.
