The three things every player buys again
Whatever you shoot, it consumes one of three things. Electric guns need a battery and a charger; gas blowback pistols and rifles need green gas or CO2; and everything fires BBs. This hub gathers the consumables so you can restock in one order, and the filters narrow by BB weight, gas type and battery chemistry.
Choosing the right BB weight
A 0.20 g BB is the reference weight for velocity tests and the standard for low-powered guns. Most players move to 0.25 or 0.28 g for an AEG, because the heavier ball is less affected by wind and gives a flatter path at the same energy. Snipers and DMRs use 0.36 to 0.48 g. Only buy precision-grade, seamless BBs of 5.95 mm; cheap ones chip buckings and jam barrels. Bio BBs break down outdoors and are mandatory at a growing number of European sites, and tracer BBs glow through a tracer unit.
Gas and batteries in brief
Green gas is propane with silicone oil and the default for gas pistols; CO2 capsules give more power and cold-weather performance in guns built for them. LiPo batteries in 7.4 V and 11.1 V have replaced NiMH in most AEGs for their trigger response, but they need a balance charger and a safe bag, and the connector (Tamiya or Deans) must match your gun. None of these items is age-restricted, so anyone can order them, and the same goes for parts and accessories.
