ML AEG Hop-up Bucking MR HOP, 70 Shore - Blue
The hop-up is where range is made. A new bucking and nub cost less than a bag of BBs and do more for accuracy than any other upgrade; a quality chamber keeps the setting where you put it.

Pressure Nub for APLHA Chamber, 50A Extra Soft - RegularThe hop-up puts backspin on the BB as it leaves the chamber; the spin creates lift that counteracts gravity and lets a 0.25 g BB fly flat for 50 metres instead of dropping after 25. Three parts do the job: the hop-up chamber that holds everything and carries the adjustment wheel, the rubber bucking that touches the BB and the nub that presses the bucking down. Upgrading any of them changes consistency; upgrading all three, with a matched inner barrel, is the best money you will spend on an airsoft gun.
Bucking hardness is given in degrees: 50 and 60 degree buckings grip well at low energy and suit stock AEGs and gas pistols, 70 and 75 degrees handle 1.5 to 2 J, and 80 degree buckings are for high-power snipers. Softer rubber gives more hop with less pressure but wears faster. Flat-hop and R-hop setups use a flat nub or a patch glued into the barrel window to spread contact along the BB, which gives the most consistent spin for heavy BBs. Use the compatibility filter to separate AEG, GBB, VSR-10 and L96 parts, since bucking shapes differ between them.
A metal rotary chamber replaces a plastic stock unit that creeps out of adjustment; some add a tension arm or a lever for finer control. Hop-up parts are unrestricted and fit in an envelope, so add them to any order of maintenance supplies.
