Airsoft SMGs & Support Guns

SMGs for CQB

An airsoft SMG is short, light and quick to shoulder, which is exactly what you want in buildings, kill houses and dense woodland. The MP5 is the classic and has the broadest parts support; the MP7 and KRISS Vector are the compact PDW choice; the P90 feeds from a top-mounted magazine and is unusually comfortable in a vest. Most are AEGs with a V2 or V3 gearbox, but gas blowback and HPA versions exist for those who want recoil. Pair yours with a 1-point sling and a red dot for fast target pick-up.

Support guns for the team

Light machine gun replicas such as the M249, M60 and minigun-style guns carry a box magazine of 1,500 to 5,000 BBs and are designed to keep firing while your squad moves. Expect a heavier gun, a larger battery requirement and a higher BB consumption, so stock up on 0.25 g BBs and consider a bipod. Many sites give support gunners a specific role in the rules, so check your field before you spend.

Automatic fire and the law

SMGs and support guns are automatic, which places them under the 1.3 J UK limit for full-auto replicas, and they are sold to adults (18+) only. UK buyers need a defence such as UKARA registration for a realistic imitation, or a two-tone finish instead. Other countries have their own rules: Germany limits free sale to 0.5 J, the Netherlands requires NABV membership, France allows 2 J. The checkout applies the limits of your delivery country.
