Using a simple adapter, it converts this to the common 14 mm CCW left-hand thread, which is one of the most widely used standards for airsoft muzzle devices. This allows a wide range of compatible airsoft suppressors, tracer units, compensators and other muzzle devices with a 14mm CCW thread to be fitted to a gun with a 14 mm CW thread. The adapter is suitable, for example, for compatible G&P, ARES or AMOEBA airsoft guns that may feature a 14 mm CW right-hand thread. We always recommend checking the actual thread diameter and direction of the specific gun before ordering. The adapter features an entirely metal construction and installation does not require any complicated modifications to the gun. Simply screw the adapter onto the outer barrel thread and then attach the desired muzzle device to its 14mm CCW thread. Do not overtighten the adapter. Particularly when fitting a metal adapter to a metal outer barrel, excessive tightening may make the adapter difficult to remove later. It is advisable to use a thin O-ring or suitable washer, which allows the device to be seated securely without unnecessarily overtightening the thread. Use a flat-head screwdriver to loosen the adapter. Never use pliers to avoid damaging the thread.
