We follow NOVESKE's design philosophy to create a training rifle that simply makes sense and works. Fine details such as fully functional controls for both left- and right-handed users, enlarged magazine stocks and trigger guards, and the fit and finish are closely monitored and accurately replicated. The gearbox that powers the rifle has been further improved for optimal performance and reliability, meeting not only EMG's quality standards but also those of NOVESKE.
- When APS began developing the Silver Edge gearbox, they wanted to bring an ultra-smooth, energy-efficient, and highly reliable system to market with enormous upgrade potential. The latest version of the Silver Edge gearbox, named eSilver Edge, takes everything that made the original so good and improves upon it.
- The newly developed advanced SDU (Super Dynamic Unit) chipset monitors the current from shot to shot and cuts off power to the gearbox if the current rises too high, before damage can occur to the weapon.
- To improve trigger performance, the eSilverEdge gearbox features a microswitch that works in conjunction with the SDU chipset for a near-instantaneous response (as fast as 0.02 seconds). Combined with a shorter trigger pull, users can achieve an incredible semi-automatic rate of fire.
- In addition to the reinforced internal components, the gearbox housing itself has been significantly reinforced to withstand the load of an M190 spring. Much attention has been paid to the details of this gearbox to make it more durable and efficient, while simultaneously keeping it compatible with the vast majority of Tokyo Marui Spec upgrade parts.
- New to the APS eSilverEdge gearbox, which debuts with the NOVESKE line of airsoft training rifles, are the reworked SDU2.0 ECU chips.
