The Walther PP series has always been a cult pistol, made famous primarily by the world's most famous British spy, James Bond. Thanks to its metal slide and polymer frame, it is surprisingly lightweight. Most of the weight comes from the magazine, which holds 22 BBs and is even sufficient for up to 40 rounds. It is equipped with a striker-fired mechanism, which is, however, concealed.
The handle has a slightly tribal-inspired design and fits comfortably in the hand. Thanks to its numerous knurled sections, it offers a secure grip even when wearing gloves. The slide is also knurled, allowing each user to develop their own method for retracting it.
It's officially licensed and therefore bears the same markings as the original – a really cool detail. It doesn't use 6mm BBs, but rather 9mm x 19mm ones, and features many other realistic markings.
How accurate is it? It shoots like a standard GBB pistol. Since it's mostly made of polymer and the slide doesn't feel like metal, even though it is, you hear a slight "click-clack" sound, which isn't particularly pleasant. The recoil, however, will surprise you. When firing, you get the feeling that the gas is decreasing with each shot, but the sensation remains constant – a big plus. Even in rapid fire, the feel of the shot is consistently smooth!
With a holder on the right and a second magazine, which is unfortunately slightly damaged. But it would still work.
