Reviews help buyers and sellers decide who they want to trade with. That only works when reviews are honest. We therefore do not remove a review just because it is negative, but we do act when a review breaks our rules.
When do we remove a review?
- The review is abusive, discriminating or contains threats or personal data.
- The review is not about an actual contact or transaction with you.
- The review is clearly misleading or is used as revenge after a dispute.
- The review was left by a user who is impersonating someone else or uses multiple accounts.
What can you do?
- Reply to the review. Open your profile, go to Reviews and use Reply below the review. Keep it short and factual. Other users then see both sides.
- Report the review. Next to every review on your profile you find Report review. Explain why the review is inaccurate and what actually happened. Attach the chat history if it is relevant.
- Wait for the moderators. Our team of moderators checks the report and the chat history. If the review breaks the rules it is removed and you receive a notification.
