Airsoft replicas are regulated in every European country. Airsoft Bazaar only sells a replica when the order meets the rules of the country of delivery. Below you find what the checkout asks of you, what we check and how delivery works. For the law itself per country, read airsoft law per country.
What everyone confirms at checkout
As soon as your cart contains a replica, the checkout asks you to tick a few declarations before you can pay:
- you are 18 years or older;
- you order the replica for your own use and receive the parcel yourself;
- the name on the delivery address is your own account name.
Without these declarations you cannot complete the order. Replica parts such as gearboxes, barrels, hop-ups and magazines are not covered by this rule.
Netherlands: NABV or ACA membership
In the Netherlands airsoft replicas fall under the Weapons and Ammunition Act. You may only own one with a valid membership of the NABV (Nederlandse Airsoft Belangen Vereniging) or the ACA. For delivery in the Netherlands the checkout checks that a valid membership is linked to your account:
- Go to your account settings and add your NABV or ACA membership number.
- We verify the membership. Once it is valid, you can order replicas.
- The name on your account must match the name on your membership card.
Aspirant members and people whose membership has expired cannot order a replica. We can ask for a copy of your membership card before we ship.
Belgium: 18 years or older
In Belgium airsoft replicas are free to sell to adults. The declarations above are enough. We may ask for a copy of your ID to verify your age.
Germany: F mark and ID on delivery
For delivery in Germany you also confirm that the replica carries the F mark (F in a pentagon) and that you show ID to the courier on delivery. Replicas above 0.5 J without the F mark and fully automatic replicas above 0.5 J cannot be delivered in Germany.
United Kingdom: UKARA or two-tone
Under the Violent Crime Reduction Act a realistic imitation firearm may only be sold to someone with a defence, such as a UKARA registration. At checkout you confirm your defence and we verify it. No defence? Then choose a two-tone version, which may be sold to anyone of 18 or older.
Other countries
For all other countries you confirm the general declarations. Airsoft laws differ per country: minimum age, maximum muzzle energy, colour requirements, and whether a permit or club membership is required. You are responsible for checking whether you may own and import the replica in your country. Airsoft Bazaar cannot give legal advice and is not liable for replicas that are stopped or seized at customs. For Switzerland you need an import permit from fedpol before you order; e-mail us first.
What we check
- At checkout we check the country of delivery, the declarations and, where required, the membership or defence on your account.
- If we need extra proof we e-mail you after your order. Reply within 5 working days, otherwise we cancel the order and refund your payment.
- We ship only to the name and address of the account holder.
Delivered to you in person
Replicas are delivered in person to the account holder. GLS does not leave them at a neighbour's, in a parcel locker or at a parcel shop. Make sure the name on the delivery address is your own account name and that you can receive the parcel, or choose a delivery day on the GLS tracking page. Replicas are shipped discreetly in neutral packaging; gas, batteries and BBs are packed separately in the parcel.
Return of a replica
The normal 60-day return period applies to replicas as well, as long as the replica is unused. See exchanges and returns. We refuse returns of replicas that have been fired, modified or upgraded unless there is a defect, see warranty and defects. Changed your mind before shipment?
